Before I begin, please take a closing look on the simple banner I've done. Take a good look and try to decipher on how its was done.

Napoleonic French Cuirassier

After finished the Russian infantry, now French Cuirassier from Perry Miniatures. These I felt more easier compare to the Russian infantry because it only has 14 models instead of 40. I randomly picked 3rd regiment 1812 kiwer. I started to get a hang on it and I truly love it.

Children of Asuryan (Part 1)

Recently I have been painting many High Elves after I got copy of the Uniforms & Heraldry book. Its truly worth the price. The information inside truly inspire me. So instead of following GW's color scheme which is Lothern, I always wanted to see other kingdoms color i.e. Corthique, Eathine, Tiranoc, Yvresse....

There are many different techniques used on painting free hand without using pencil sketch on miniatures' surface. I'm not sure how other painters have done it.

Fire Born (Part 1): Space Marine Salamanders Honour Guards

I always like to create something new/different, something that nobody has done before such as my Thousand Sons Sorcerer Dreadnought and Thousand Sons Obliterator. And I sell it to make some extra income for my family.

As always I searched through my own black library(collections of white dwarf mags and codexes).... This time I bumped into the Salamanders chapters and I found the Honour Guards very interesting. As at to date, I still can't find a decent converted Honour Guards with Salamanders theme. I've searched through the net and found nothing comes near it. Correct me if I'm wrong.

So I decided to do it. It took me awhile to collect enough infos and also parts for it. With my own pre-mold reptile skin, I've completed this:

Free-hand Tutorial: High Elves Banner

As promised that I will post more tutorial. To match the High Elves Saphery region theme (as followed the shield), I went for moon crest. And to make it very simple, I just painted 2 runes. Picture below shown the finished banner. It seems hard for you at first look. Here I will guide you through with my step-by-step instructions.

Pre-Mold Reptile Skin

Here's the first goodies for year 2015. After a lot work and testing, I've made my own pre-molded reptile skin. For those who are interested to get a hand on it, you may contact me. I will also make available on Ebay which it will comes in a set.

A whole new year and a whole new resolution. As I will be more focus on this blog, I will come up with more articles on freehand and produce my own unique stuff for sell. This will help many painters and hobbyist improve. Anyway, I'm taking my time doing planning on all my projects.
